Ag Appreciation Dinner August 23
The "37th Annual Salute to Ag" for Clinton and Henry County area was held on Monday evening, August 23, at the Benson Center. The purpose of this Salute is to recognize the importance of agriculture to our local economy.
The Chamber Grill Team was in action cooking up a great steak dinner. After dinner, Mike Jones was recognized as the Agri-Business Person of the year.
We'd like to thank all of the businesses and individuals who purchased tickets, volunteered time, and collectively made the event a success!
2nd Annual Fall City-Wide Garage Sale September 11
The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador Committee will sponsor the 1st annual Fall City-Wide Garage Sale. All families, clubs, and organizations are invited to participate in Clinton's Annual City Wide Garage Sale on Saturday, September 11, 2010. The Chamber’s Ambassadors Committee wants to help you with your garage sale by promoting the City-Wide Garage Sales through advertising in the Clinton Daily Democrat, The KAYO, KDKD Radio and on the Chamber’s website.
All you have to do is fill out this form, bring it in or send the form to the Chamber Depot at 200 South Main, Clinton, MO by September 2, with a check payable to GCACC, for $20.00 and we will take care of the rest. No City Permit is needed for this once a year event provided by the Chamber office.

One of the things we do at the Chamber of Commerce is tell people all about our "Great People, By Nature" community. Then there's the antiquing, our great Community Center...well, you get the picture. We're always telling people why WE love it here, but we'd like to tell them why YOU love it here!
